Dear Ward 13,
I know that we normally put out our newsletter on the 1st of every month but I wanted to take a moment and check in on you and to provide you with some important information & updates on where we are at with the COVID-19 pandemic. I’d like to start by thanking all of you who are being patient and cooperating in keeping all Canadians safe through this. I want to remind you that there are many people on the front lines that are working very hard to keep us all safe and if any of them are your children, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, uncles, aunties or grandparents, please thank them on behalf of my family and I. Please continue to listen to the directives of our medical experts so that we can continue to stop the spread of this virus.
In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, practice social distancing by staying home whenever you can, regularly wash your hands with soap and water, avoid touching you face and mouth and stay up to day on the latest COVID-19 news. Finally, social distancing doesn’t mean we stop talking to each other. We are all in this together so let’s continue to check in on each other through social media, calls, emails, facetime ect. I will continue to be available to support all of you as you have continued to reach out for check-ins/information updates and or guidance.
Stay safe, Stay strong, together,
Councillor Arielle Kayabaga
